Paranormal Mysteries Discussed!

There are some that believe in the Paranormal and there are those that do not. But, what we all cannot fail to agree on, is that there are plenty of suggestions and examples of why and how ghosts could exist.

Some paranormal topics could be classed as far-fetched and unlikely to be real such as Skotography (paranormal photography) as it has not been as widely researched as perhaps, say, clairvoyants. Why isn't there as much interest in this particular topic? Is it so hard to define and research?

Either way, the paranormal will continue to fascinate, scare and intrigue us for many years to come.

We are intrigued by the paranormal because there seems to be no way to prove it exists or doesn't exist either way. The fascination will never end simply because we will never find complete answers to our many questions.

We have a morbid fascination with death, accidents, natural or man-made disasters and things that fear us. Why is this the case? Is it our natural, innate survival instincts kicking in?

We do not want to end up the same way as those that are unfortunate to die. It's as if we have a desire to know exactly what caused the deaths so that we can make sure it doesn't happen to us.

Our fascination with death and the paranormal and anything that fears us could also be because we need to understand it. After all, to be frightened or threatened by the unknown is far worse than knowing what's out to get you. Could it mean that possibly we need to know how to deal with it, survive it and learn from it? Is this a throw-back from our ancestors who relied on quick wits to survive attacks from wild animals?

This could be the reason why we spend so much time researching and telling stories about it. We expand on these stories, using an active imagination, time and word of mouth, to increase the fear and the speculation ten-fold we have of them.

And it does seem to be that the more we think we know of the paranormal, the more we want to know.

When will it ever end?
